The Winona Christian Lady Stars finally got back on the softball field after being off for more than two weeks.
The Lady Stars swept a pair of district games from Central Holmes, winning 14-5 and 10-0. On Saturday, Winona split a pair of games, beating Kirk 5-2 before falling to Pillow 5-1.
Winona Christian improves to 14-9-1 on the season and was scheduled to travel to Greenville St. Joseph on Monday and travel to Pillow on Tuesday. They will end the regular season next week as they host St. Joseph on Monday and Carroll on Tuesday.

The Lady Stars only had three hits in the contest and dropped a four-run decision against the Lady Mustangs.
Pillow scored one in the first and two in the second and sixth. Winona scored one in the fourth.
Winona had three hits while Terri Cain singled and drove in a run. Miranda McDaniel and Kaylah Varnes each singled while Sara Rawles also scored a run.
Rawles pitched the first five innings and gave up three runs on six hits. Allie Rawles pitched the last inning and gave up two runs on five hits.
Winona Christian 5, Kirk 2
The Lady Stars scored four runs in the first inning and took a three-run win on Saturday.
Winona scored four in the first and one in the third while Kirk scored two in the second.
Winona had four hits in the contest. Allie Rawles was 2-for-2 with an RBI while Sara Rawles doubled and drove in two runs. Lennie Wood had Winona’s other hit while Hannah Robertson and Allie Leach each scored a run. Miranda McDaniel also scored two runs.
Brantley Stanford pitched all three innings and gave up two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out three.
Winona Christian 14, Central Holmes 5
The Lady Stars overcame an early deficit and took a nine-run win over the Lady Trojans on Wednesday.
Central Holmes scored five runs in the first before Winona scored two in the second, four in the third and fourth, one in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Winona had 14 hits in the contest as Lennie Wood was 3-for-5 with four RBIs while Allie Leach was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. Miranda McDaniel was 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, two runs scored and two RBIs. Kaylah Varnes was 2-for-4 with a double while Terri Cain singled and drove in two runs. Brantley Stanford walked twice and scored two runs while Kate Ware also scored two runs and stole three bases.
Brantley Stanford pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up five runs on three hits and three walks. Allie Rawles pitched 2/3 of an inning before Sara Rawles pitched the final six innings and gave up two hits and three walks while striking out nine.
Winona Christian 10, Central Holmes 0
The Lady Stars didn’t give up a hit and took a five-inning, run-rule win over the Lady Trojans.
After a scoreless first inning, Central Holmes scored six in the second, one in the third and three in the fourth.
Winona had just five hits but took advantage of four walks and four errors.
Kaylah Varnes was 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Hilary Beckwith singled, walked twice and scored twice. Sara Rawles had two RBIs and scored a run. Allie Leach, Terri Cain and Brantley Stanford each had RBIs.
Sara Rawles pitched all five innings without giving up a hit and struck out five and walked just one.
