Winona Christian split a pair of games last week and have one week left before they begin district play.
The Stars opened the week with a 22-3 win over Delta before dropping a 15-2 decision to Marshall Academy on Thursday.
Winona Christian will return to play Tuesday as they play in Vicksburg and will travel to Central Holmes for a non-district contest on Friday.
Winona Christian 22, Delta 3
The Stars scored 19 runs in the first inning and took a three-inning, run-rule victory on Tuesday.
Delta scored two in the first and one in the second while Winona scored 19 in the firs and three in the second.
Winona had just eight hits but took advantage of 10 walks and six errors. Blake Cooper was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and five RBIs. Parker Bledsoe tripled and scored twice while Sam Thompson doubled, scored twice and had two RBIs. Steele Mims scored three runs while Dalton Wiggins, Austin Winters, Lake Beckwith, Brannon Hill each scored two runs. Morgan Nance scored twice and had two RBIs.
Cooper started on the mound and pitched two innings and gave up three runs on two hits and a walk while striking out five. Mims pitched the last inning and struck out three.
Marshall Academy 15, Winona Christian 2
The Patriots pulled away late and took a 13-run win over the Stars on Thursday.
Marshall scored three in the top of the first but Winona answered with two in the bottom of the frame. But the Patriots pulled away with three in the second, five in the third and four in the fifth.
Marshall outhit Delta 11-3 in the contest. Steele Mims was 2-for-3 with a double while Dalton Wiggins doubled and scored a run.
Parker Bledsoe pitched 2 1/3 innings and gave up eight runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four. Morgan Nance pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up three unearned runs on four hits. Mims pitched the last 2 1/3 innings and gave up four unearned runs on four hits.
