A summer feeding program that has been an annual occurrence for the past several years is returning back to Winona and will begin in Carrollton for the first time.
Blessing for all, Empowered by Faith, Inc. will hold its summer feeding program. Organizer Calbrina Ward-Woods said they will be giving seven meals at one time, once a week. This program was also offered last May during the pandemic.
“We’ve never did this in Carrollton, it’ll be our first time there,” she said.
The meals will be available one bag per child.
Ward-Woods said later this year, the organization will also hold their back to school events. More information about both will be given.
