It was a rough week for the Winona Christian softball program as they lost three of four games.
Winona Christian fell 4-0 to Jackson Prep and 4-0 to Central Hinds on Saturday while taking a 5-1 win over St. Aloysius. The Lady Stars also dropped an 11-1 decision to Pillow on Tuesday.
Winona Christian was scheduled to play Central Holmes on Monday but the Lady Trojans are in quarantine and that game will be rescheduled. The Lady Stars will travel to Carroll for a big district contest before playing in the Bayou Academy tournament on Saturday in Cleveland.

The Lady Stars only managed one hit as they fell to the Lady Patriots on Saturday.
The game was scoreless for the first five innings before Prep broke through and scored four in the sixth to take the win.
Hilary Beckwith had the only hit for the Lady Stars and stole a base while Allie Rawles drew two walks.
Sara Rawles pitched the first five innings and gave up two hits and struck out four. Allie Rawles pitched the last inning and gave up four runs on four hits.
Winona Christian 5, St. Aloysius 1
The Lady Stars used a pair of two-run innings and took a four-run win over the Lady Flashes on Saturday.
St. Aloysius scored one in the top of the first while Winona Christian scored two in the first and second and one in the third.
Winona had eight hits in the contest. Allie Leach was 2-for-3 while Sara Rawles was 2-for-2. Hilary Beckwith doubled while Miranda McDaniel and Allie Rawles each tripled.
Allie Rawles pitched five innings and gave up one unearned runs on six hits and struck out two.
Central Hinds 4,
Winona Christian 0
The Lady Stars only had one hit as they dropped a five-inning, time-limit contest to the Lady Cougars on Saturday.
Central Hinds scored one in the fourth and three in the fifth.
Hilary Beckwith had Winona’s only hit.
Sara Rawles pitched all five innings and gave up four runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four.
Pillow Academy 11,
Winona Christian 1
The Lady Stars dropped their third straight decision to the Lady Mustangs on Tuesday.
Pillow scored four in the first, two in the second and fourth and three in the fifth. Winona scored its lone run in the third.
Pillow outhit Winona 7-5 in the contest but drew six walks. Hilary Beckwith and Sara Rawles each doubled while Terri Cain singled and scored a run.
Allie Leach started on the mound and pitched one inning, giving up six runs on two hits and five walks. Allie Rawles pitched the last 3 2/3 innings and gave up five unearned runs on five hits and struck out two.
