Noah Durham once again had the top finish for the Winona High School cross-country team as he placed 19th overall at the French Camp Classic last Saturday on the campus of French Camp Academy.
Durham finished the 5000-meter event with a time of 19:54. Teammates Aidan Windham came in 26th in 20:14, and Thomas Rosamond was 28th in 20:16.
Nathan Henson finished 65th overall with a time of 22:51, and Riley Windham was 76th in 24:04. Ahmaud Seawood was 78th with a time of 24:15, and Ben Rosamond was 97th in 27:21.
For the girls, Anna Beth Wilson was 41st overall with a time of 26:54, and Bailey Holly was 58th in 28:32. Murry Catherine Alderman was 68th with a time of 29:57, and Lawanda Loggins came in 76th in 30:29. Chloe Drake was 94th in 37:08, and Ja’Kayla Gholston was 95th in 37:28.
Winona will compete in the Region 2-3A meet Thursday at Winona. The state 3A meet is set for Nov. 8 at Choctaw Trails in Clinton.
