Mr. William Lynn Bowers, II, 41, of Vaiden, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. He was born January 27, 1981, in Greenwood. William had worked as a Regulator Technician at 4-Way Electric in Greenwood as well as Emerald Transformer.
An avid outdoorsman, William enjoyed hunting and fishing at every opportunity. A devoted family man, he will be remembered as a loving husband and a devoted father to Hagen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service, in Grenada with Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating. Interment will follow in the Longview Cemetery in Carroll County.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Bowers; son, William Hagen Bowers of the home; mother, Shirley Billings of Carrollton; sister, Roxann Bowers of Louisiana; a brother, Tommie Bowers of Carrollton and a host of cousins and friends that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lynn Bowers, Sr. and a brother, Jimmy Hayles.
Curt Forde, Joey Lowrey, Robert Sims, Bailey Tucker, Cole Tucker and Riley Tucker will honor William by serving as pallbearers and carrying him to rest in the Longview Cemetery.
