The Winona Christian Stars finally got the baseball season started with three games last week.
The Stars won two out of three games last week. They opened with a 4-3 walk-off loss to St. Aloysius and then returned the favor to Oak Hill on Thursday with a 10-9 walk-off win over the Raiders. The Stars finished the week with 14-0 win over J.Z. George on Friday.
Winona Christian is scheduled to play at Leake Academy on Thursday and will host St. Aloysius on Saturday.

The Stars only gave up one hit as they took a three-inning, run-rule win over the Jaguars on Friday.
Winona Christian scored four in the first, nine in the second and one in the third.
The Stars had 14 hits in the contest as Parker Bledsoe was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Lane Beckwith was 2-for-3 with three RBIs while Trace Carpenter was 2-for-3 as well. Sam Thompson was 2-for-2 with two runs scored while Brannon Hill doubled and drew two walks. Tucker Sykes had a three-run home run while Collin Parkinson doubled and drove in two runs. Jake Ware also doubled while Davis Dew singled and drove in two runs. Bryce Harville singled and scored two runs while Colton Crosby also scored two runs.
Bledsoe started on the mound and pitched three innings, giving up just one hit and two walks while striking out seven.
Winona Christian 10, Oak Hill 9
The Stars scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh and got a walk off win over the Raiders on Thursday.
Oak Hill dominated early as they scored four in the first and led 6-2 after three innings. Winona Christian scored three in the fourth to cut the lead to 6-5. Oak Hill then added two in the fifth and one in the sixth to extend the lead to 9-5. The Stars then scored one in the sixth and four in the seventh to take the win.
Each team had nine hits in the contest as Brannon Hill was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Collin Parkinson had a three-run home run while Bryce Harville, Lane Beckwith and Trace Carpenter each singled and drove in two runs.
Hill started on the mound and pitched two innings, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two. Carpenter pitched the next 4 2/3 innings and gave up four runs on six this and three walks while striking out five while Reese Johnson got the last out on one pitch to pick up the win.
St. Aloysius 4, Winona Christian 3
The Flashes scored the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to take a walk off win over the Stars on Tuesday to open the season.
St. Aloysius scored three in the first and Winona Christian answered with three in the second.
St. Aloysius outhit WCS 5-3 in the contest. Jake Ware singled and drove in a run while Trace Carpenter singled and scored. Collin Parkinson also had the other single.
Parker Bledsoe started on the mound and pitched three innings, giving up three unearned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six. Parkinson pitched three innings and gave up one run on one hit and two walks while striking out five. Trace Carpenter go the last two outs.
