Parker Bledsoe, Winona Christian, Senior, Shortstop/Pitcher
Why he’s here: Bledsoe had a standout season for the Winona Christian Stars, both at the plate and on the mound. At the plate, Bledsoe had a .426 batting average and had a .556 on-base percentage. Bledsoe had four doubles, three triples, two home runs and 27 RBIs along with nine stolen bases. On the mound, Bledsoe pitched 40 2/3 innings with a 1.54 ERA and 54 strikeouts. Bledsoe also played the MAIS Class 1A/2A/3A All-Star game and was named the District 2-4A Player of the Year.
Alan Busby, J.Z. George, Senior, Infielder
Why he’s here: Busby had a solid senior season for the J.Z. George Jaguars, helping his team to the playoffs. The senior had a .366 batting average with 16 runs scored.
Maddox Carpenter, Carroll Academy, Junior, Outfielder/Pitcher
Why he’s here: Carpenter is a junior standout for the Carroll Academy Rebels. Carpenter had another solid year for the Rebels with a .382 batting average to go along with two home runs, 21 RBIs and 26 runs scored. Carpenter is also a standout for the Carroll football team as well.
Trace Carpenter, Winona Christian, Junior Infielder/Pitcher
Why he’s here: Carpenter helped the Stars to the district championship. The junior had a .348 batting average and a .403 on-base percentage. He also had three doubles, one home run and 19 RBIs. On the mound, Carpenter had 33 2/3 innings pitched with a 3.90 ERA.
Griffin Faulkner, Winona, Senior, Cather/Pitcher/Infielder
Why he’s here: Faulkner was another utility player for the Winona High Tigers this season and second on the team with a .383 batting average. The senior had 18 singles, five doubles, 13 runs scored and 21 RBIs as he helped the team to a 15-8 record and the Division 3-3A championship.
Brannon Hill, Winona Christian, Freshman, Catcher
Why he’s here: In a team full of upper classmen, Hill was solid behind the plate for the Stars. At the plate, Hill had a .339 batting average and a .481 on-base percentage. Hill also had two doubles, one triple and 18 RBIs.
Lofton Holly, Carroll Academy, Junior, Infielder/Pitcher
Why he’s here: Holly helped lead the Rebels to the playoffs for the second straight season. The junior infielder and pitcher had a .313 batting average with 17 RBIs and 20 runs scored to go along with nine doubles.
Ryan Logan, Carroll Academy, Junior, Infielder/Pitcher
Why he’s here: The junior had a solid season for the Rebels, who finished made the playoffs for the second season in a row. Logan was 2-3 on the mound and hit .400 at the plate with a .557 on-base percentage. Logan had 19 singles, 10 doubles, 32 RBIs and scored 17 runs.
Brandon McKenzie, J.Z. George, Junior, Pitcher/Infielder
Why he’s here: The junior was solid for the Jaguars this season, helping his team to a 7-11 record. McKenzie went 6-4 on the mound for the Jaguars in 36 innings pitched with 36 strikeouts against 16 walks. At the plate, McKenzie had. .421 batting average with 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Jacob Myers, Winona, Senior, Pitcher/IF/OF
Why he’s here: The senior was a do-everything player for the Tigers this season. Myers had a .387 batting average and a .548 on-base percentage with 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. On the mound, Myers had a 4-1 record with in 41 1/3 innings pitched with 31 walks and a 4.573 ERA.
Collin Parkinson, Winona Christian, Junior, Infielder
Why he’s here: Parkinson is another multi-sport athlete for the Stars. The junior had a .330 batting average and a .482 slugging percentage. Parkinson had six doubles, two triples, one home run, 26 RBIs and was 14-of-14 in stolen bases. Parkinson also made the MAIS Future All-Star game along with Ware.
Jake Ware, Winona Christian, Junior, Outfielder
Why he’s here: Ware was a standout for the Stars and led the team at the plate. The junior had a .455 batting average with a .501 slugging percentage. Ware had seven doubles, three triples, 21 RBIs and scored 34 runs. On the base paths, Ware was 23 of 23 in stolen-base attempts. Ware was also selected to play in the MAIS Future All-Star game. Ware is also a standout in football and basketball as well.
