November is here, the month of THANKFULNESS!!!! Over the last couple of years, I have done a thankfulness challenge on Facebook where every day I acknowledge one thing that I’m thankful and grateful for. This is a way for me to focus on the things around me, the things I have, the people that surround me, and the big and small things that happen every day or that I take for granted.
So for the month of November, I am going to write some things I’m thankful for in this article and I hope that you will take a minute and recognize things you are thankful for in your life. This week I am thankful for new opportunities and doors that the Lord opens. I never thought I would have a column in the newspaper or that people would want to read something that I wrote. Getting to write a column each week has kept my mind active and my spirit alert to the things around me, looking for lessons every day.
I have had situations that I wouldn’t have thought much of before, but now those situations are showing me some incredible truths and teaching me lessons. This week take time to think on new opportunities that may have come up for you this year and give the Savior some praise. Remember Ms. Faulk loves you, but Jesus loves you more!!!
