The little things matter!!!! I know. I know. We like the big gestures, the big gifts, and the praise, but the little things mean just as much if not more especially if they come from the heart.
My birthday was the week during spring break so we weren’t at school. When I got back to school one of my students had written me the best note they knew how and bought me a $1 chocolate bar. Now that may not seem like much, but it made my day and touched my heart because nobody asked them, reminded them, or persuaded them, but they thought of me and wanted to do a little something.
You see little things can carry a lot of weight because they come with thought and heart. Jesus tells us that the big things are great, but the little things are what makes a faithful person.
There is a quote that says, “Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were big things.”
So, this week do not look down on the little things, but look for them, and when you find them you know you will find someone faithful to you. Remember Ms. Faulk loves you, but Jesus loves you more.
