We are just days away from Christmas 2024 and it sure brings back memories from years gone by. There are so many acts of kindness that are remembered by so many this year and as in the past. From where we see the Salvation Army red kettles and people ringing bells at stores, these donations make a difference.

Municipal leadership: Public works efforts are valuable

Next month will be the 2025 Mississippi Municipal League Mid-Winter Legislative Conference in Jackson. Through the years when I attended the winter conference it has always been very informative with the MML legislative agenda. Each year consists of proposals for the legislature that are important to cities and towns across this state.

Blessings for Thanksgiving

This past Sunday night I attended the Carrollton/North Carrollton Community Thanksgiving Worship Service at North Carrollton United Methodist Church.
