J.Z. George High School hosted a shoot last Thursday at the school’s gymnasium against Pillow Academy and Winona High School.
J.Z. George won the team competition with a score of 3,141. Pillow was second with 2,737, and Winona came in third with 2,610.
Kelton Sanders had a near-perfect round as he shot a team-high 290. The next 11 competitors and their scores for the Jaguars were Gallaxie Little, 274; Jaelyn Foreman, 271; Dustin Dickerson, 267; Madison Miley, 264; Wyatt Goss, 262; Andrew Bowers, 256; Abbygail Clardy, 255; Emma Coy Boyles, 254; Allen Wiggins, 252; Chase Gentry, 250; and Ava Hollis, 246.
For Winona, Brycelyn Townsend led the top 12 with a 270. The next 11 and their scores were Wheeler Chandler, 262; Nikhyla Baskin, 250; Bryce Kilcrease, 246; Jamar Nash, 229; Archie Flowers, 219; John Sykes, 215; Chloe Drake, 203; Alicia Jackson, 202; Ethan Drake, 197; Alyssa Harris, 171; and Briseis Pearson, 147.
For Pillow, its top scorer was Wyatt Saia with a 261. The Mustangs next 11 with their scores were Owen Hodges, 253; Blane Williams, 244; Whitt Hodges, 242; Carter Nunley, 239; Sarah Rylie Harden, 237; Hartley Kittle, 234; Jack Stuckey, 225; Charlie Kimmel, 222; Rylie Collet, 198; Laney Roach, 192; and Dhara Rathod, 190.
J.Z. George will host a shoot on March 18 against Kosciusko, Pillow and Winona.
