A graveside memorial service for Mrs. Judy Slocum Ayers will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Mrs. Ayers passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, at her residence in Carrollton, she was 69 years old.
Mrs. Ayers was born in Greenwood, MS on Feb. 9, 1954, to James William and Lucy Frances Oswell Slocum. She was a retired employee of the Mississippi Department of Human Services. She is survived by her husband James "PeeWee" Ayers of Carrollton; son, James "Jamey" Lott of Carrollton; grandson, Cameron Lott and brother, Jimmy Slocum (Kay) of Carrollton.
