The Holmes Community College Grenada Campus held a pinning ceremony for the Practical Nursing Class of 2024 on December 10th in the Corey Forum.
The graduating class included Azaria Owens, Sachi Pilkay, Tyra Jones, Tanisha Carter and Shaniqua Booker of Grenada County, Mechel’Lay Teague of Attala County, Shafaa Jones of Hinds County, Elexus Hughes of Choctaw County, Hailey Horton of Webster County, Karya Campbell of Montgomery County, Fidelia Bradford of Holmes County, Alecia Mack and Tyenna Goods of Madison County, Nanija Hemmingway of Carroll County, Nequaisha Holmes and Amber Campbell Hancock of Leflore County, Alexandria Coleman of Lowndes County and Rahchal Williams of Rankin County.
The ceremony began with a welcome from Practical Nursing Instructor, Heather Rozier. Following her welcome, instructor Casey Welch addressed the graduates. Instructors Kate Barton and Lauren Dees presented the pins and led the candle lighting ceremony.
