Roy May and Brad Cumbest of Trax Plus addressed the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors as the first agenda item during their Monday, March 3, meeting. Cumbest introduced himself as the company's new outside salesman for the Montgomery County region, while May followed with a presentation highlighting Trax Plus' equipment lineup and service offerings.
Montgomery County Chief Deputy Marcus Rodriguez discussed a policy update for the Sheriff's Department.
"So, every entity like us, we're supposed to have a policy on file for the Freedom of Information Act," Chief Deputy Rodriguez explained. "So it's just a policy just outlining our process."
Rodriguez had already reviewed the policy with Chancery Clerk Ryan Wood. Wood clarified that while the County has an existing Freedom of Information Act policy, this new policy would specifically apply to the Sheriff's Department. A motion was made to approve the new policy, which was passed unanimously.
