Town of North Carrollton Food Drive
The Town of North Carrollton Mayor and Board of Aldermen are partnering with North Carrollton's GeneraXtion Dream Pushers to hold a food drive for the area. Non-perishable food items, bread, and sandwich meats are welcomed for donation. All Donations will go to the GeneraXtion Dream Pushers/Town of North Carrollton Food Supplement Program. This program will help supply families in need.
The drop off location for donations is North Carrollton City Hall, located at 114 East Main Street, North Carrollton, MS 38947.

Annual Women’s Day
Annual Women’s Day for the Good Hope United Methodist Church will be held on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Mrs. Shirly Ann Weeks of Tuckerville M.B. Church/Vaiden Friendship M.B. Church. Pastor Rev. Juanita Cook

We are Winona
The First Annual We are Winona event will take place this Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Montgomery County Coliseum, located at 200 Recreation Park Drive in Winona.
November 11
Veteran's Day
On November 11 at 11:00 a.m. the Third Arrow Chapter, NSDAR and the Michael H. Ball VFW Post 12191 will host a Veterans Day Program and ceremony at the Carroll County Courthouse. Following the program, refreshments will be served. All local citizens are encouraged to attend and honor all veterans of all wars who have fought to keep our great nation free.

There will be a Veterans Day program held at the Vaiden Courthouse on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.
December 5
Kilmichael Christmas Parade
The annual Kilmichael Christmas Parade will be held on Dec. 5, 2025 starting at 6 p.m. Anyone wanting to place an entry in the parade may pickup an entry form at Kilmichael City Hall. Contact Charles Austin at 662-417-4221 with any questions or concerns.

Vaiden Christmas Parade
The Town of Vaiden’s Christmas Parade will be held on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.

Walk-A-Weigh
Walk-A-Weigh meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon for an indoor, low-impact exercise program at the Montgomery County Extension office.
Kilmichael Lions Club
The Kilmichael Lions Club meets the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at God's House of Hope in the cafeteria. Visiting Lions are always welcome, and for those interested in becoming part of the club, contact Matt Bennett at (662) 392-9290.
Michael H. Ball VFW Post 12191 Meetings
Michael H. Ball VFW Post 12191 in Carrollton will meet every first Tuesday at 6 p.m. at 21421 Highway 82 East. All members and potential members are invited to attend.
American Legion Post 52 Meetings
The American Legion Post 52 will meet every second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 52 all members and potential members are invited to attend.
Winona Rotary Club
The Winona Rotary Club meets every Thursday at noon at the American Legion building across from Winona Manor. Visiting Rotarians are always welcome.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery at The Foundry meets every Monday night. A meal is offered at
5:30 p.m. and, the meeting starts at 6 p.m. Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Christ-centerted program for anyone in need of recovery from a hurt, habit or hang-up resulting from addiction, divorce, abuse, family dysfunction that made life unmanageable.
