The Montgomery County Forestry Association will hold its annual field day on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Mulberry Farm in Kilmichael. Topics for the day will be Prescribed Fire with Drones, Pine Thinning & Local Market Conditions, Wildlife Thinning, Sustainable Forestry Initiative, & Mississippi Forestry Association.

Camp McCain is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4pm-7 p.m.

4th Annual Duck Hill Harvest Festival
October 25, 2025 Duck Hill will host their 4th annual Harvest Festival. The event will take place at 308 Main Street in Duck Hill starting at 12 p.m. Entry is free and all vendors are welcome. October 28 the Mississippi Lift program and the Delta Health Alliance will be sponsoring a "Spooktacular" Party from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Winona Resource and Referral Center (located at 614 S. Walk-A-Weigh meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon for an indoor, low-impact exercise program at the Montgomery County Extension office.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery at The Foundry meets every Monday night. A meal is offered at
5:30 p.m. and, the meeting starts at 6 p.m. Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step Christ-centerted program for anyone in need of recovery from a hurt, habit or hang-up resulting from addiction, divorce, abuse, family dysfunction that made life unmanageable.
