August is Customer Appreciation Month for all Montgomery County Libraries. Come in during August and enjoy half-price fax, copy, and computer printout document services. This promotion runs through August 31. We also have other weekly surprises for our customers, so be sure to come to see us!
I have several book displays set up for August besides our new book displays. The library has a back-to-school display set up in the children’s area that includes many cute books. My favorites are Back to School Tortoise by Lucy George, Daddy’s Back-to-School Shopping Adventure by Alan Sitomer, and The Pigeon HAS to Go to School by Mo Willems. I also have “Dog Days of Summer” displays set up for children and adults. What kind of books are in these displays? You guessed it, dog-themed! Whether it is fiction or non-fiction, I’m sure you can find something you will love.
