Brothers from Itta Bena are facing burglary charges in connection with a string of burglaries on the west side of Carroll County.
According to Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker, Monday, Carroll County deputies along with Leflore County deputies arrested J. C. Stewart, III, 38 of Itta Bena, and on August 1, 2017, Carroll County deputies along with the Greenwood Police Department arrested Frederick Stewart, 41 of Itta Bena.
Both brothers are being charged with multiple burglaries that have occurred over the last several months in the West Carroll area.
Walker said on July 28, 2017, Carroll County deputies along with the Greenwood Police Department served a search warrant at 1203 Roosevelt Street in Greenwood, and police recovered a large amount of stolen property. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
