For a child is born to us---These will be his royal titles: “wonderful counselor, mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.
Such a wonderful time of the year, looking around as the lights are so beautiful to view and remembering that Jesus is the light of the world. As we enjoy the spirit of the season we must also be mindful of those who are going through some kind of sickness or just everyday life problems of some kind.
We are thankful for a portion of health and strength, therefore we must always pray for those in our surrounding area and those who are for away. It really doesn’t matter what the case may be for some, we may just need to let someone know that we care and are concerned.
Prayers are going out for all of our family, friends, and neighbors all over the world. We must remember our city and county officials, our medical institution and staff, our educational system and staff, our Christian organizations. We pray for strength to all to set positive examples, as we strive daily to do what’s right, what a joy.
Prayer list: Pastor Denny and Minister Rosie Forrest- also our churches in Starkville, Ms. Membership and the community, Mary Harrell, Christine and James Higgins, Ella M. Outlaw, and others. Albert Forrest, Essie M. Barnes, uncle J.L Forrest, aunt Emily Forrest, aunt Zelma Forrest, the Forrest and Bennett families, all sick and shut-in, all thoughtful, the careless and the unconcerned.
This is a good time for all of us to be thankful as we look out for someone other than ourselves.
