A Vaiden man has been charged in connection to two burglaries in Carroll County.
Virgil Lee Wade, 43, of Vaiden was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary of a dwelling.
According to Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker, the charges stem from a burglary on County Road 31 around May 28, 2018, and a burglary on County Road 221 in February 2018. A variety of appliances were stolen, including a refrigerator, electric heater, and air conditioner.
“We located some of the items from a scrap iron place in Kosciusko,” Walker said.
Walker said their investigation into the burglaries led to Wade being determined as a suspect.
Wade is currently being held in the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility in Vaiden.
