Beverly Rickles Patterson, 63, of McCarley, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, at her residence. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood with visitation from noon until service time. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Etheridge officiated the services.
Mrs. Patterson was born on Jan. 1, 1961, to Johnny Ray Rickles and Shelby Minyard Rickles in Greenwood. She resided in Carroll County most of her life and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She worked at Winona Christian School and Kilmichael Group Home. She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Rickles; husband, Danny Patterson; and brother, John Minyard Rickles.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Patterson of Starkville, and Brandon Patterson (Shana) of Holcomb; mother, Shelby Minyard Rickles of McCarley; sister, Donna Rickles McDonald (Barry) of Southaven; brother, Bobby Yi Boothroyd (Ana Paule) of Madison; grandchildren, Payton Patterson and Avery Patterson; nephew, James Barry McDonald; and nieces, Emma Rickles, Madison Rickles, and Ann Carter Rickles.
Pallbearers were James Barry McDonald, Cole Surrell, Justin Mitchell, Neil Belk, Kevin Etheridge, Stuart Etheridge, and Ryan Etheridge.
