The following arrests were reported by local law enforcement agencies last week. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
• Colby Meeks of Vaiden was arrested on Nov. 2 by the CCSO on the charges of simple domestic violence, misdemeanor; with a bail set in the amount of $500, profanity in a public place, misdemeanor; with a bail set in the amount of $500, and disturbing the peace, misdemeanor; with a bail set in the amount of $500.
• Jaquavious Forrest of Winona was arrested on Oct. 27 by the WPD on the charges of simple domestic violence, misdemeanor, trespassing after notice, misdemeanor, and burglary of a dwelling, felony; with a bail set in the amount of $5,000 and is on hold for MDOC.
• Tyrone Wright of Belzoni was arrested on Nov. 1 by the CCSO on the charge of possession of a weapon by a felon, felony.
