The Cherokee Rose Garden Club’s selection of Yard of the month for March is this charming home in North Carrollton, owned by sister Tricia Ball and Robbie Ball Sisco.
Our selection committee members noted: “After all the devastation during the ice storm, this yard was noticeably up to perfection. This family home stood out as one that was loved and cared for. The front porch and the white picket fence along the back made it feel so warm and inviting. We hope everyone admires it as much as we did.”
Congratulations Tricia and Robbie! Well, done!

Inside serving soup was Mason Andy Peacock, Mason Mitchell Costilow, Antiquities Member Betty Downs, Mason James Wilson and Mason Paul Haley, serving soup to Raymon Jordan.
The postponed 2026 A Taste of Soup and Art Exhibit held recently was a great success. We visited with many old friends and welcomed new faces. The Masons again helped to serve the soups. The top 2 favorite soups were the Creamy Queso Soup and the Smoked Sausage Beer Potato Soup. Copies of the cookbook will be available for purchase at the Carrollton Town Hall during regular hours.
This event is one of many being held in Carroll County this year to celebrate our nation's 250th birthday.

Hudson was recently listed as a 3-star prospect with 247Sports. The 6-foot, 193-pound Hudson also has 12 college scholarship offers, and he is hoping a few more come his way.
“The ranking by 247Sports caught me off guard,” Hudson said. “I got a text from one of the guys with them, and he told me I was being listed as a 3-star. I told him that was crazy, but I give all the glory to God.
