WCS Stars took two of three from Indianola

The Winona Christian Stars took a big step towards the playoffs by taking two out of three games from Indianola Academy last week.
Winona Christian split a doubleheader on Monday, winning game one, 9-1, before losing game two, 13-2. In the deciding third game, Winona took a hard-fought 12-10 decision.

Stars advance to Class 4A North State tourney

The Winona Christian tennis team finished out the regular season with an undefeated record as they took an 8-1 win over Grace Christian last week.
In singles, the Stars split the two matches as Eli Lewis won 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 1 spot while Riley Harville fell at the No. 2 spot.

Rebels plow through Trojans in 3-game sweep

The Carroll Academy Rebels grabbed a much-needed three-game sweep last week in district play.
The Rebels pounded Central Holmes last week, winning 15-0 and 13-4 on Monday and then finished out the series with a 12-1 win on Tuesday.
