WHS face Water Valley in second round Friday

Winona High School moved into the second round of the North 3A baseball playoffs with a sweep of Noxubee County last Friday in Winona.
The Tigers (15-6 overall) didn’t allow a hit to Noxubee in either game, winning by scores of 20-0 and 19-0 in the doubleheader.

WHS Tigers are 7-0 in Region 3-3A baseball

The Winona High School baseball team moved to 7-0 in Region 3-3A with a 14-2 win over Amanda Elzy last Monday in Winona.
The Tigers led 1-0 after the first, 5-2 after two, 11-2 after three and 14-2 after four. The Tigers outhit Elzy 11-4 and took advantage of seven errors by the Panthers.
