Tigers roll over Yazoo County in 47-8 win

Winona High School opened defense of its district title with a 47-8 win over Yazoo County High School last Friday night in Yazoo City.
The Tigers (5-1 overall, 1-0 Region 3-3A) led 26-0 after the first quarter, 40-0 at the half and 40-8 after the third frame.

Rebels move to 4-4 with win over Oak Hill

The Carroll Academy football team has been known for its running prowess under Coach Bo Milton.
The Rebels showed on Friday night that they are a threat in the passing game as well. The Rebels had 488 yards of total offense with more than 200 passing, in a 48-7 win over Oak Hill.
