Even with two first-half turnovers, Carroll Academy trailed by just one score at halftime against Class 4A Washington.
But the Generals pulled away in the second half with three scores and took a 40-14 win.
Carroll falls to 0-2 on the season and will travel to Class 5A Starkville Academy on Friday.
