Carroll County man shot during fight

A Carroll County man recently was shot during an altercation near Coila.
Lamarcus Woodson, 31, sustained his injuries on April 2 during a fight with Michelle Eileen Hearn of Carrollton, according to a press release from Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker.

Beat 4 candidate brings concerns to board

Charles Humphrey, a candidate for the Beat Four Supervisor seat of Carroll County, brought a concern before the Board of Supervisors on April 3.
Humphrey first thanked the board saying “as a citizen of Black Hawk, I’m truly amazed at everything” that has been done to rebuild the community.
