The Carroll Academy Rebels only got in one contest last week and lost a 14-4 decision to division foe Oak Hill.
Game 2 of the series was rained out and will likely be moved to April 12.
Carroll has a big two-game series this week with Winona. Game 1 of the series was set to be played at Carroll on Tuesday, and Game 2 of the series will be at Winona at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Oak Hill broke open a close game with eight runs in the fifth inning to take a run-rule victory over the Rebels on Tuesday.
Carroll scored two runs in the first inning as Colby Holly led off the game with a walk and stole second and third. He eventually came home on a wild pitch. Bubba Porter also walked in the inning and stole second and went to third as Gavin Wiltshire reached base when the catcher dropped a third strike. Porter scored when Andrew Montgomery also reached on a dropped third strike.
The Rebels added another run in the second inning when Dane Greenlee homered as the Rebels carried a 3-2 lead into the third inning.
In the third, Wiltshire reached on an error and scored on a single by Montgomery as the Rebels held a 4-3 lead after three innings.
Oak Hill scored three in the fourth and eight in the fifth as Carroll gave up 11 runs on four hits and seven errors.
Montgomery (0-2) was the losing pitcher as he pitched four innings and gave up nine runs on six hits and five walks while striking out five. Lofton Holly pitched in relief and gave up five runs on two hits, two walks and one hit batter.
