The Winona Christian Stars have fought more with the weather than opposing teams.
The Stars have managed to get in only one contest so far, dropping a 7-6 decision to Tri-County Academy on Thursday.
Winona Christian is expected to return to action on Tuesday when they host Kirk Academy and will Travel to French Camp on Friday and Madison St. Joe on Friday.
After falling behind 7-1, the Stars scored five runs in the sixth inning but dropped a one-run contest to Tri-County on Thursday.
Winona scored one in the first inning and held that lead for the first three innings. Tri-County then scored five in the fourth and two in the fifth as they had seven hits and four walks.

The Stars had four hits in the contest as Latham Hill led the way, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Latham had a double and a home run in the contest. Blake Marlow and Holland Ingram each had singles and drove in runs while Reed Roberts also had an RBI.
Austin Huggins got the start and pitching three sharp innings, giving up one hit and striking out four while walking one. Choyce Diffey pitching 1/3 of an inning and gave up five runs on three hits and two walks. Deuce Irwin pitched the final 1 2/3 innings and gave up two runs on three hits and a walk.
