Stars fall just short in district match against IA

What started out with a bang ended with a thud for the Winona Christian Stars on Friday night.
The Stars had trouble stopping a talented Indianola team as the Colonels ran up 522 yards of total offense and took a 49-34 win in a key District 2-3A contest.

Lady Stars prepare for tourney

The Winona Christian Lady Stars clinched the District 2-3A championship this past week as they now start to focus on the North 3A Tournament.
The Lady Stars hammered Central Holmes 13-2 to remain unbeaten in district play and claim the championship.

Tigers win rivalry battle with Jags

The Winona Tigers took home a win on the road Friday night in contest against the J.Z. George Jaguars in North Carrollton. The Tigers won the rivalry match 41 to 20.
The Tigers struck first with a 2-yard run by Jekeyvion Burnley. Noah Durham booted the PAT and Winona led 7-0 early in the first quarter.

Stars win with last minute TD
