Tiger track run today to qualify for state

This afternoon, the Winona High School Tigers and Lady Tigers track teams have one last shot to place in order to qualify for the 2021 State Championship Track Meet in Pearl on Friday, April 30. The meet was originally scheduled for Saturday, but because of incoming inclement weather, it was moved to today.

Carroll Academy brings home two wins

The Carroll Academy Rebels completed a remarkable turnaround season as they finished with a pair of wins.
The Rebels beat Tri-County 2-1 on Thursday and finished with a 13-10 win over North Delta on Friday.

Stars will open playoffs Tuesday against Kirk

With their backs to the wall on Tuesday night, trailing by three runs going into the seventh, the Winona Christian Stars responded in championship fashion.
The Star scored six runs in the seventh and held in the bottom of the frame to beat Indianola 12-9 and secure the No. 3 seed out of District 2-AAA.

Lady Tigers have tough week on the diamond

The Winona Lady Tigers had a rough week on the softball diamond as they lost all four games they played.
Winona lost 26-14 to Riverside, 16-5 to Nanih Waiya, 17-0 to Vardaman and 17-4 to Bruce.
