Rugley takes helm of Tiger basketball

When Presley Coleman left the Winona boys basketball program, it didn’t take the school district long to find his replacement.
St. Andrew’s assistant coach JaMario Rugley was recently named as Coleman’s replacement.
It’s the first head coaching job for Rugley but one that probably should have come earlier.

Coleman steps down as basketball coach

After one of the most successful basketball seasons in recent memory, Winona and boys basketball coach Presley Coleman are parting ways.
Coleman stepped down from his position as boys basketball coach and says he is currently seeking another head coaching job.

‘Good things’ seen from offense in scrimmage

J.Z. George High School wrapped up its spring football season with a scrimmage against Ethel High School on May 13 at Farris Jenkins Field in North Carrollton.
No official score was kept, but head coach Rusty Smith said his offense scored a total of 10 touchdowns on 25 offensive plays against the visiting Tigers.
