J.Z. George High School awards athletic honors

J.Z. George High School held its athletic awards banquet on May 14 in the school's gymnasium.
Seniors Wil'Tavious Williams and Jacob Johnson received the Kemp Haddon Award and Jaguar Award, respectively. Junior D'Anthony McGlothan received a plaque for being named the Region 2-2A Defensive Player of the Year from the 2020 season.

CA Rebels scrimmaged with North Delta team

Tigers fall against Booneville in second round

The Winona Tigers’ baseball season came to an end last week in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.
The Tigers faced a strong Booneville team, losing 17-0 on Thursday and 10-0 on Friday.
Winona ends the season with a 16-10 record.
