Lady Stars fall to Oak Hill in back-to-back games

It was a tough week on the softball diamond for the Winona Christian Lady Stars.

The Lady Stars lost two games to Oak Hill last week, falling 12-2 on Monday and 17-5 on Tuesday.

Winona Christian was scheduled to host Pillow on Monday and then play at Washington on Tuesday.

Jaguars set off O’Bannon Jamboree Showdown

J.Z. George head coach Dustin Alford will get to see his team play against other competition Friday as the Jaguars compete in the O’Bannon High School jamboree in Greenville.

The Jaguars will take on Amanda Elzy at 6 p.m. and face off against South Delta at 7 p.m.

The Lady Rebels dropped a pair of games, falling 14-0 to Calhoun Academy and 20-0 to Starkville Academy.
