It was another rough week for the Carroll Academy softball team.
The Lady Rebels dropped a pair of games, falling 14-0 to Calhoun Academy and 20-0 to Starkville Academy.
Calhoun 14, Carroll 0
The Lady Cougars used one big inning to take a run-rule win over the Lady Rebels on Monday.
Calhoun scored one in the second and then added 13 in the third.
Carroll had just two hits, singles by Rachel Dugger and Naveah McCrory.
Kaylyn Wiltshire itched all three innings and gave up 14 runs with only five being earned. She gave up 11 hits and five walks in the loss.
Starkville 20, Carroll 0
The Lady Rebels didn’t have a hit as they suffered a shutout loss on Tuesday.
Starkville scored 12 in the first and eight in the second.
Emma Matthew was the only Lady Rebels to reach base, getting hit by a pitch.
Layla Neese, Kaylyn Wiltshire, Kenzie Reeves and Andy Milton each pitched for Carroll.
