A North Carrollton man accused of murder was indicted by the recalled Carroll County Grand Jury last week in Carrollton.
Tredarius Tremondre “T.T.” Burt, 18, was indicted for first degree murder in connection with a March 20, 2018, shooting in North Carrollton.
According to the indictment, Burt stands accused of murdering Juandavious Hill, 20, of North Carrollton on Van Meter Street in North Carrollton.
At the time of the incident, Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker said Carroll County deputies responded to the reports of a shooting around 6:30 p.m. on March 20, 2018. When they arrived, they found Hill shot to death in the middle of the street.
Walker said, according to several witnesses, the shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation between the victim and Hill.
The Carroll County Grand Jury also handed down indictments in the Northern District for:
• Jonathan McClusky was indicted for possession of more than one-tenth gram but less than two grams of cocaine. The indictment stems from an incident on August 31, 2018.
• Carl Conner was indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The indictment states that Conner possessed a Marlin 881 MIPOP-GROOVE Barrel Cal. 22 LR on December 21, 2019. Conner has a previous conviction for Felony DUI on November 12, 2019, in Carroll County.
• Carl Bullard was indicted for one count of fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle and being in possession of a firearm by a felon.
According to the indictment, Bullard stands accused of fleeing a law enforcement officer on January 26, 2019, and being in possession of a fire arm by a felon at the same time. Bullard has seven convictions in Carroll and Montgomery counties. He also faces a sentence enhancement as a habitual offender and a sentence enhancement for as a second or subsequent offender.
• Carl Bullard was also indicted for one count possession of stolen property, one count of being in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and one count possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine.
According to the indictment, Bullard stands accused of possessing a stolen 2004 Chevrolet pickup, valued at more than $1,000 and less than $5,000. He also stands accused of being in possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on August 19, 2018, and being in possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine at that time.
Bullard also faces two sentence enhancements for being a habitual offender and for being a second or subsequent offender.
• Amy Burt, included on the same indictment as Carl Bullard in connection with the August 19 incident, was indicted on one count of possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine.
• Ladonna Watkins was indicted for embezzlement.
According to the indictment, Watkins stands accused of embezzling more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 from Scott Petroleum Corp. in Carrollton between July 27 and October 12, 2018.
• Jessica Adcock was indicted for possession of more than one-tenth gram but less than two grams of methamphetamine in connection with an August 4, 2018, incident. She also faces a sentencing enhancement for second or subsequent offender, as she has a conviction of possession of methamphetamine in Grenada County in 2016.
• Larry Harris and Toddric Crawford were indicted for burglary of an automobile. The two stand accused of burglarizing a 1996 Ford pickup on December 17, 2018.
• Michael Bassett was indicted for four counts of burglary. According to the indictment, Bassett stands accused of burglarizing homes on County Road 23 in Carrollton, Highway 430 in Carrollton, County Road 23 in Carrollton, and East John C. Stennis Drive in Louisville.
In the Southern District of Carroll County, the recalled grand jury handed down the following indictments:
• James Henson was indicted for intimidating judge, juror, witness, attorney, etc. or otherwise obstructing justice.
According to the indictment, Henson stands accused of attempting to intimidate or otherwise influence Roshaun Daniels, a deputy with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, by making verbal threats toward Daniels on November 15, 2018.
• Edwin Berrios was indicted for burglary of a dwelling. According to the indictment, Berrios stands accused of burglarizing a home on Highway 51 in Vaiden on April 14, 2017.
• Brittany Morrow was indicted for child neglect. According to the indictment, Morrow stands accused of recklessly depraving a child with “necessary health care or supervision appropriate to a child’s age resulting in substantial harm to the child’s physical health, to-wit: bilateral skull fractures, spinal compression fractures, and colonic perforation.”
• Christopher R. Coker was indicted for aggravated domestic violence. According to the indictment, Coker stands accused of causing serious bodily harm to a female victim by “hitting her with a gun and stomping her causing her to have a broken nose, busted lip, a gash on her head, and a broken finger.”
Coker faces a two sentencing enhancements as a habitual offender for four previous convictions in Carroll County.
• Warren Corley was indicted for being in possession of a firearm by a felon. Corley has a previous conviction in Holmes County in 2009.
• Steven Griffin was indicted for felony driving under the influence fourth offense. Griffin has three previous DUI convictions in Winona and Montgomery County.
