The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
According to Sheriff Jeff Tompkins, deputies were dispatched to Bluff Springs Road Tuesday afternoon to reports of a shooting.
Tompkins said the shooting occurred from two vehicles driving along Bluff Springs Road. When deputies arrived, one of the vehicles had left the scene and the other was struck by bullets.
Tompkins said deputies were given a description of the other vehicle and are currently investigating the incident.
No one was injured in the shooting, and no arrests have been made at this time, Tompkins said.
