Donnie Armstrong Blaylock, 81, of Winona, passed away at Winona Manor in Winona on Thursday, Dec.13.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home and funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Winona. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Rev. Bob Canazaro and Rev. Sam Dodd officiated the services.
Mrs. Blaylock was born to Samuel Ezell and Cola Morehead Armstrong on July 16, 1937. Mrs. Blaylock was the retired city court clerk and police dispatcher for the City of Winona and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Blaylock; and three brothers, R. T. "Red" Armstrong, Laverne Armstrong, and Billy Armstrong.
Mrs. Blaylock is survived by her daughters, Terri Blaylock Carter of Winona and Lelia Blaylock Chandler of Weir; her son, David "Buster" Armstrong of Winona; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Colten Chandler, Reed Chandler, Eric Franklin, Larry Blaylock, Charlie Fisk, and Johnnie Hargrove.
