Charles Noah of McCarley, 78, passed away at his residence near McCarley on Sunday, April 28.
Visitation was from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30 at Carrollton Baptist Church in Carrollton, with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. Ed McDaniel officiated the services.
Mr. Noah was born to H. M. and Catherine Carpenter Noah in Carrollton on July 9, 1940. He was a salesman for Farmers Supply Co-op, retiring after 42 years. Mr. Noah served in the MS Army National Guard and was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church. He enjoyed carpentry work and worked hard at everything he did.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joy Hoatland.
Mr. Noah is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Noah of McCarley; two sons, Brad Noah of McCarley and Scott Noah of San Antonio, Texas; two granddaughters, Alex Noah and Caley Noah; three sisters, Frances Palmertree of Greenwood, Bernice Sheppard of Lake Village, Arkansas, and Nancy Murrah of Clinton; one brother, Carl Noah of Vaiden; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Cecil Womble, Trey Mullins, Danny Beck, Jerry Paul Whitfield, Jerry Sheppard, and Brent Noah. Honorary pallbearers were Charles McCluskey, Hays Nolan, Fred Palmertree, Lee Murrah, Curren Sheppard, and Carl Noah.
