Blake “Butch” Klemme II

Blake “Butch” Klemme II, 46, of Greenwood, MS, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with visitation 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Clark will officiate.

Blake was born January 21, 1974 in Vicksburg, MS, to Blake Klemme, Sr. and Dianne Baker Tackett. He was a 1992 graduate of Greenville High School, and he attended Mississippi Delta Community College. He was a promise keeper at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. He enjoyed drag racing. He was preceded in death by his father.

Blake is survived by his parents, Dianne Tackett and husband Aubrey of Greenwood, MS; son, Jacob Klemme of Stewart, MS; sisters, Jaime Carpenter and husband Zack of Carrollton, MS,  Anna Chambers and husband Lee of Irmo, SC, and Gina Morgan Tackett and husband Brad of Portland, AR; and brother, Taylor Klemme of Anderson, SC.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Bowles, David Murphy, Jr., Emmett Kelly, Gavin Wiltshire, Zack Carpenter, and Deuce Irwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Blackmon and Bo Williams.
