Birdie J. Griffin, 66, of Greenwood died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Salisbury will officiate.
Mrs. Griffin was born to John G. Henry and Mary Lampton Henry on March 2, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated high school in Homestead, Fla., and was a resident of Greenwood for the past twenty years, where she helped her husband in the ministry.
She was a member of Voice of Victory Church. She was vice-president and director of Abishi Food Ministries in Greenwood. She was known for her singing in church and was a dedicated and beloved wife and mother.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rev. Daniel Griffin of Greenwood; two daughters, Dana Hendricks and husband Wayne of Senatobia and Serena Griffin of Greenwood; two brothers, John Henry and wife Sandy and Bill Henry all of New Orleans, La.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
