The Carroll Academy girls opened their season last week with a pair of losses.
Carroll fell 57-37 to North Delta and 37-16 to Benton at the Indianola Tournament.
Carroll is scheduled to play at Starkville Christian on Tuesday and then play at Kirk on Thursday. The following week, Carroll will play at Winston on Tuesday, Nov. 9 and will open at home on Thursday, Nov. 11 as they host Heritage.
North Delta 57, Carroll 37
The Lady Wave outscored the Lady Rebels in each of the last three periods to pull away and take a 20-point win last week.
Carroll held a slim 11-9 lead at the end of the first before North Delta outscored the Lady Rebels 22-12 in the second to lead 31-23 at the half. North Delta continued to extend its lead in the second half as they outscored Carroll 12-8 in the third and 14-6 in the fourth.
Dru Chamblee and Mary Laken Boutwell each had13 points for the Lady Rebels.
Benton 37, Carroll 16
The Lady Rebels struggled from the field as the Lady Raiders took a 21-point win last week.
Benton led 14-10 at the end of the first period and 22-12 at the half. Benton continued to extend its lead as they outscored Carroll 7-4 in the third and 8-0 in the fourth.
Dru Chamblee led Carroll with five points while Meri Brynn Reeves and Bella Carter each had four points each.
