Leler Mae Cook Cox of Grenada, 86, formerly of Black Hawk, passed away at Providence Personal Care Home in Grenada on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Visitation was from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel and burial followed in Black Hawk Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Hawk. Mr. Bryan Lott will officiate the services.
Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and a former employee of Baldwin Piano and Organ Company in Greenwood. She was a member of Black Hawk Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Cox; and two daughters, Gloria Timbs and Judy
Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Elder of Slidell, La.; son, Bobby Ray Cox Jr. of Black Hawk; sister, Bertie Ellis of Kosciusko; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
