Winona softball dropped a Region 5-3A game to Choctaw Central 5-2.
“They didn't overpower us,” said Lady Tiger Coach Steven Helms. “We put a lot of balls in play. Defensively, they're pretty solid. They make the routine plays. We hit routine balls.”
Allyn Claire Gant had a double, two singles and both RBIs for Winona.
