On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, officers with the Winona Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Hwy 407 near Poor house Rd. Officers secured the scene and immediately launched an investigation.
At this time, investigators believe this was an isolated incident. There is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community, and this is not an active shooter situation.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
