The Winona High School and J.Z. George High School cross-country teams competed in the Kirk Academy Invitational on Sept. 29 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada.
Here are the results for both schools:
Winona High School
Ben Rosamond placed 58th overall in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 23:52.20 for the Tigers.
In the 2-mile run, Shannon Taylor Reece was 65th overall with a time of 21:53.80 in the junior high meet. For the Winona junior high boys in the 2-mile run, Gaines Rogers was 61st in 16:05.50, and Cash Kilgore was 82nd in 18:22.50. Tyler Nason was 105th in 21:55.10, and Camden Woods was 114th in 25:47.50.

Tyler Duren placed 44th overall with a time of 22:36.50 in the 5,000-meter run for the Jaguars. For the Lady Jags in the 5,000-meter run, Mackenzie Ainsworth was 71st in 41:49.60, and Gallexie Little was 72nd in 43:25.30. Ratasa Busby placed 73rd in 44:49.90.
In the 2-mile run for the junior high boys, Kingston Smith was 117th in 29:34.60.
