The Winona High School boys and girls cross-country teams recently competed in the Kirk Academy Invitational on Oct. 7 in Grenada.
For the varsity Tigers, who ran in the 5K event, Aidan Windham was 18th overall in 20:37.90, and Riley Windham was 24th in 21:16.80. Ben Rosamond was 48th in 24:41.60.
For the varsity Lady Tigers, Amy Coburn was 40th overall in 30:42.90. Bella Durham was 44th in 32:13.70, and Jamiya Watkins was 56th in 41:51.20.
For the junior high boys, who ran in the 2-mile event, Gaines Rogers was 44th in 15:38.10, and Cash Kilgore was 79th in 19:52. Eli Jones was 85th in 21:14.10.
For the junior high girls, Kaleyah Thomas was 56th in 24:22.20, and Ariana Young was 57th in 24:54.30.
