We are thrilled to announce the engagement of Prestley Olivia Smith of Benton, Ark., formerly of Canton, to Bailey Randle Vaughan of Benton, Ark., formerly of McCarley.
Prestley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Smith of Summit. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walker of Summit, and Mr. and Mrs. Gent Smith of St. Francisville, La.
Bailey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Vaughan, Jr., of McCarley. His grandparents are Mrs. Priss Ferguson and the late Mr. Maurice Ferguson of McCarley, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Vaughan, Sr., of Greenwood.
Prestley is a 2019 honor roll and Academic All-Star graduate of Canton Academy, a National Honor Society member and a 2023 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She currently serves as the Business & Communication Manager at West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District in Hot Springs, Ark.
Bailey is an honor roll graduate of Pillow Academy in 2018 and earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2022. He is currently employed as a Structural Engineer at Crafton Tull in Hot Springs, Ark.
The wedding ceremony will take place on April 13 at 6:30 p.m., at The Ivy in Flowood, with the Rev. Randy Bridges officiating. The reception will follow at The Ivy in Flowood.
